Company profile | KYOSEI, suppliers of gas and water piping materials, including pipes, valves, and governors

Company profile

Since our foundation in 1947, we at KYOSEI, an idea-based corporation, have been developing new products and services that meet the demands of the times.

While refining our existing brands, such as KEYLON and KYOSEI, in recent years we have also strived to improve quality and productivity by exploiting the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI). To satisfy diverse needs both in Japan and abroad, KYOSEI has been expanding its sales divisions, thereby continuing steady growth.

When I assumed the post of President in fiscal 2018, I announced the policy of further pursuing KYOSEI’s innovative value as a manufacturer. Enhancing our development capability to respond appropriately to rapidly-changing social and economic trends is both an urgent and important theme. One of the initiatives embodying this is to invigorate discussions — in other words, to enhance communication among members of KYOSEI, to ensure that they can open-mindedly exchange views while accepting each other’s arguments. I believe that this kind of communication flow is the shortest route to finding the best solutions, and will lead to the creation of a workplace environment that facilitates the generation of ideas which will continue to infuse new life into KYOSEI.

Year by year, competition in the infrastructure industry has become more chaotic and intense. It is important to take these kinds of threats seriously, but I am sure that this should also offer opportunities for KYOSEI, which has stayed competitive through technological development in response to social trends. KYOSEI is determined to continue to embrace new challenges through companywide efforts, no matter how the times may change.
